Goričko Homes

Four traditional farmhouses in the Goričko Nature Park, Goričko Homes occupies Prosečka vas, a hamlet of under a dozen households near Puconci in Slovenia's northeastern corner, where the Hungarian and Austrian borders lie within cycling distance.

The park is one of Slovenia's least-visited protected areas, known for white stork nesting sites and rolling loess hills rather than alpine crowds. Accommodation retains rural character — expect stone walls and timber ceilings rather than resort amenities.

Puconci sits roughly 180 km northeast of Ljubljana; Murska Sobota, the regional centre with rail connections, is twelve kilometres south. The surrounding lanes suit road cycling and birdwatching through the spring migration window.
