Hanji Gguljam

Within the lanes of Jeonju Hanok Village, Hanji Gguljam takes its name from the city's centuries-old hanji paper craft — gguljam evoking the silkworm cocoons once used in traditional textile work. The guesthouse sits among the 735-hanok cluster of Pungnam-dong, placing guests inside the preserved tile-roofed streetscape rather than on its edges.

Rooms include air conditioning, refrigerators, and free toiletries; the compact setup suits travelers using Jeonju as a base for the Gyeonggijeon Royal Shrine, two blocks away, or the street food alley along Nambu Market.

Baggage storage runs without time restriction, useful for late departures toward Jeonju KTX station, roughly fifteen minutes by taxi from the village entrance.
