Guesthouse The Kims
13, Baekseokdong 1-gil, Jongno-gu
About Guesthouse The Kims
Three floors of hanok-influenced guesthouse in Jongno-gu, The Kims occupies a quiet alley off Baekseokdong-gil — a neighbourhood where low-rise residential streets sit minutes from Gyeongbokgung Palace's east gate and the Bukchon Hanok Village walking trail.
Rooms are compact and clean, suited to solo travellers and couples moving through Seoul on a tight itinerary. Gyeongbokgung subway station on Line 3 is a short walk, connecting guests to Insadong's antique shops and Hongdae within twenty minutes.
Jongno-gu rewards early risers: the palace grounds open at 09:00, and the morning street stalls along Insadong-gil serve hotteok and tteokbokki before the tour groups arrive. The Kims works best as a cultural-quarter base rather than a nightlife address.
