Seochon Moonlight premium Han-Ok

Above the narrow alley of Jahamun-ro 5-gil in Seoul's Seochon quarter, Moonlight Han-Ok is a traditional Korean timber house where paper-screened doors and exposed wood beams replace the glass towers visible two blocks east.

Seochon sits between Gyeongbokgung Palace's western wall and Inwangsan mountain — older and less trafficked than the Bukchon hanok cluster across the ridge. Independent ceramics studios and single-origin coffee shops line the lane outside; the palace's north gate is a ten-minute walk.

Guests book individual rooms within the hanok compound. Check-in is managed privately rather than through a staffed lobby, so arrival coordination is handled directly with the host.
