Ao Nang Beach sits on Thailand's Andaman coast, 22 km west of Krabi Town in Krabi Province. The beach faces a bay flanked by karst limestone cliffs that rise directly from the sea, giving the shoreline a distinct visual character unlike flatter Gulf of Thailand resorts. Long-tail boats depart here for Railay Beach, reachable only by water, and for the Phi Phi Islands, roughly 45 minutes by speedboat.
