Rena House Chiang Mai

Forty-eight hours is enough to understand why Rena House draws repeat visitors to Moon Muang Road Soi 9, a quiet lane pressed against the eastern moat of Chiang Mai's Old City. The Sunday Walking Street market on Wualai Road sits roughly 1.5 kilometres south; Tha Phae Gate is a five-minute walk. A practical base for solo travellers and couples exploring the walled city on foot.

The soi position filters out the main-road noise while keeping guests inside the moat grid — temples including Wat Chedi Luang fall within ten minutes on foot. Nimman Haeminda's café strip is reachable by a short songthaew ride north.

Moon Muang Road is the Old City's eastern rim road, lined with guesthouses and tour desks; Rena House sits far enough down the soi to avoid that strip's foot traffic.
