An 18th-century townhouse row on Montague Street, The Zetter Bloomsbury occupies the Georgian terrace directly opposite the British Museum's north gate — a position that makes the Reading Room steps a ninety-second walk from the front door.

Rooms draw on the building's period proportions rather than fighting them: high ceilings, deep sash windows, and bespoke furnishings by Russell Sage Studio replace chain-hotel uniformity. The cocktail bar, overseen by Tony Conigliaro, runs a list rooted in botanical infusions that changes with the season.

Montague Street sits at the quieter edge of Bloomsbury, closer to the museum academic crowd than the tourist corridor of Oxford Street, which remains a twelve-minute walk south.
