1321 Commerce Street
About The Adolphus, Autograph Collection
The 1917 Beaux-Arts tower on Commerce Street, the Adolphus was commissioned by Anheuser-Busch founder Adolphus Busch as Dallas's answer to European grand hotels — the ornate terracotta facade and barrel-vaulted lobby survive largely intact a century later.
Rooms occupy the upper floors of a 21-story structure, placing guests above the downtown Arts District grid; the Perot Museum and Klyde Warren Park land within a ten-minute walk. The French Room restaurant on the ground floor is one of the few remaining formal dining rooms in Texas operating with full tableside service.
Check-in opens at 15:00; the midnight check-out window gives late-arriving guests a practical buffer.
