Fairmont Grand Del Mar

Eight miles north of downtown San Diego, Fairmont Grand Del Mar occupies a Mediterranean-revival estate inside the Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve, giving guests canyon views in place of the city grid.

The spa runs across two floors with a steam room, sauna, and full treatment menu including body wraps and couples' massage. A Tom Fazio-designed golf course adjoins the property; tennis courts, archery, horseback riding, and cycling trails round out the activity roster without leaving the grounds.
