Ipay Alojamiento Familiar

Twelve rooms in a family-run guesthouse on Calle Florida, Ipay Alojamiento Familiar occupies a quiet corner of Purmamarca at the foot of the Cerro de los Siete Colores — the UNESCO-listed Quebrada de Humahuaca's most photographed hillside, layered in ochre, red, and violet sediment.

Rooms are split between garden-facing and hillside-facing aspects; a sun deck and shared terrace give unobstructed views of the painted ridge at dawn, well before day-tour traffic fills the plaza. Each unit carries private bathroom, refrigerator, and electric kettle, while heating manages the sharp Andean nights at 2,200 metres.

The village artisan market around the central plaza sits two blocks north. Tilcara, the next major Quebrada town, is a 25-minute drive; airport shuttle to Jujuy capital is offered on request.
