Three kilometres south of the Croatian-Montenegrin border crossing, Villa Lara occupies the quiet bay village of Molunat — a 45-minute drive from Dubrovnik's Old City gates and a practical base for travellers who prefer uncrowded Adriatic shoreline over the tourist corridor closer to the city walls.

The property sits directly beside the beach, with free parking on site — rare for the southern Dalmatian coast, where summer traffic routinely backs up toward Cavltat. Airport transfers are available, cutting the reliance on local buses that thin out sharply past Dubrovnik.

Family rooms and non-smoking accommodation throughout keep the house suitable for longer stays. Molunat bay itself is sheltered and shallow, drawing swimmers rather than boat traffic, which makes it calmer than the more exposed coves further north along the Župa dubrovačka riviera.
