Wine Residence Cattunar

Six suites within the Cattunar family winery in Materada, a small Istrian village between Poreč and Novigrad, Wine Residence Cattunar places guests directly among the Malvazija and Teran vines that supply the estate's bottlings.

Rooms follow a wine-cellar palette — raw stone, dark timber, terracotta — with private terraces overlooking the vineyard rows. Each stay includes a guided barrel-room tasting; the estate's own label is poured at breakfast alongside Istrian prosciutto and local sheep's cheese.

Materada sits roughly ten kilometres east of the Adriatic coast, with Poreč's Roman-era Euphrasian Basilica a fifteen-minute drive. The flat Nova Vas back lanes are well suited to cycling between neighbouring estates.
