Japods Kingdom

Twenty-four wooden pods sit scattered through birch woodland at Račić, a hamlet ten minutes by car from Plitvice's southern entrances near Rastoke and the Korana canyon. Each pod is freestanding, timber-clad, and windowed toward the tree line rather than a shared corridor.

There's no restaurant on site; a wood-fired grill house in the village handles evening meals, and pod kitchenettes cover breakfast. Parking sits beside each unit, useful since park shuttle stops are a short drive away.

The setup suits couples and small groups wanting a quiet forest base away from the coach-tour crowds at the main lake entrances.
