On the Rock Apartments

Twelve apartments above the Adriatic on Šibenik's old-town escarpment, On the Rock takes its name literally — the building sits on the same limestone ridge that carries the 15th-century St. James's Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site two minutes on foot from the front door.

Each apartment runs a full kitchen with dishwasher and stovetop alongside a private entrance, making the property suit stays of a week or longer. Sea and landmark views vary by floor; upper units face the cathedral's apse and the channel beyond. Breakfast arrives in the room or as a to-go pack for early departures.

Bicycle rental and canoe access are arranged on-site, with the Krka National Park boat pier a short ride north. Upper floors are stairs-only — worth noting for heavy luggage.
