Converted from a postwar Cité Castors self-build home — a 1950s cooperative housing movement where residents constructed their own houses — Rien Que Nous occupies a quiet residential pocket at 19 Cité Castors, roughly two kilometres from the Gothic tracery of Saint-Étienne Cathedral.

The name translates as 'Just Us', signalling a deliberately intimate stay. With only two reviews on record, the property operates at guesthouse scale rather than hotel format. Centre Pompidou-Metz, the first satellite of the Paris institution, sits within cycling distance and draws a design-literate crowd to the city.

The Cité Castors district retains its low-rise, garden-fronted character, distinct from Metz's preserved German imperial quarter near the central station.
