The Mayflower - Heritage Villa

Four heritage rooms occupy a colonial-era villa on Chamber Road in Alleppey's Dutch Square, one of the oldest European-settled quarters in Kerala — placing guests within walking distance of the Vembanad Lake waterfront and the backwater boat jetties that connect to Kumarakom.

The Mayflower sits entirely on the ground floor, with a shared kitchen and garden available to all guests — a practical layout for families or longer-stay travellers who want more than a hotel corridor. Bicycle rentals let guests reach Alleppey Beach in under ten minutes without arranging a driver.

Airport shuttle and car rental are both arranged on-site, useful given that Cochin International Airport lies roughly 75 kilometres north. Dutch Square itself rewards an evening walk — the surrounding lanes hold 17th-century Dutch cemetery graves and spice-trade warehouses rarely covered in mainstream guides.
