Maidens Hotel New Delhi

Two wings of Edwardian colonial architecture frame the lawns of Maidens Hotel, one of Delhi's oldest operational properties, open since 1903 on Sham Nath Marg in the Civil Lines district — a quieter residential enclave north of Old Delhi's traffic.

The 54 rooms retain high ceilings and period furniture; the colonnaded verandah bar serves gin-based cocktails referencing the hotel's British Raj origins. An outdoor pool sits within the original garden layout, shaded by mature neem trees.

Civil Lines places guests roughly 2km from the Red Fort and ten minutes by auto-rickshaw from Kashmiri Gate Metro. Connaught Place runs 6km south. The Sunday antique market at Sunder Nagar falls within a fifteen-minute drive.
