L'Antica Cantina

Perched within Alghero's medieval old town on Via Dante, L'Antica Cantina takes its name from the wine cellar origins of the building — stone walls and terracotta tile floors survive throughout the ground-floor rooms.

Guests have private entrances, a full kitchen setup including microwave and coffee machine, and a dining area suited to longer stays. The terrace and patio face an inner courtyard, shielded from the pedestrian street noise. Breakfast can be delivered directly to the room, and packed lunches are available on request — useful for day trips to the nearby Grotte di Nettuno sea caves.

Alghero's Aragonese-era bastions and the Lido San Giovanni beach sit under ten minutes on foot. Parking is available on site, rare for this dense historic quarter.
