About Giustino

Giustino

Giustino is a small Alpine commune in Val Rendena, Trentino, sitting at roughly 760 metres above sea level on the western edge of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park — the largest protected area in Trentino at over 620 square kilometres. The village of fewer than 700 residents sits 12 kilometres south of Madonna di Campiglio, one of the Dolomites' principal ski resorts, making Giustino a quieter and often more affordable base for both winter skiers and summer hikers.

Visitors arrive primarily to access the park's trails, including routes toward the Nambino lakes and the Brenta Dolomites ridgeline. Mountain bikers use the Val Rendena cycle path that runs along the Sarca river through the valley floor. In winter, a shuttle connects the village to the Campiglio ski area's 150 kilometres of piste. The surrounding peaks draw alpinists targeting routes on the Adamello glacier, the largest glacier in the Eastern Alps.

Giustino has a small concentration of family-run hotels and agriturismo properties that offer half-board packages common across Trentino mountain accommodation. The nearest rail access is Trento, approximately 70 kilometres south-east, connected onward by regional bus through Val Rendena.
