Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

Stretched along a private arc of Tanjung Rhu beach on Langkawi's sheltered northeast coast, the Four Seasons Resort arranges its pavilions and villas between a UNESCO-listed mangrove estuary and the Andaman Sea. The limestone karst outcrops of the Kilim Geoforest Park rise directly offshore.

Villas sit at beach or lagoon level; the lagoon-facing units have private plunge pools overlooking the mangroves rather than open water — a quieter, more shaded position preferred by repeat guests. The resort's own boats run guided kayaking into the mangrove channels at dawn, when egrets and monitor lizards are most active.

Tanjung Rhu is the least-developed corner of Langkawi, well north of the duty-free shopping strip at Kuah. The nearest town, Kuala Muda, is a fifteen-minute drive; the international airport sits forty minutes south.
