Bell & Beam - A Timeless Gozitan Stay in Victoria

Six rooms inside a restored limestone townhouse on Triq il-Madonna tal-Karmnu, Bell & Beam occupies one of Victoria's quieter residential lanes roughly 200 metres from the Citadella's main gate. The property takes its name from the original bell-casting workshop believed to have operated on the site during the 19th century.

Interiors lean on bare Gozitan globigerina stone, exposed timber beams, and handmade Maltese tiles — materials sourced from the island rather than imported. Breakfast is served in a small internal courtyard shaded by a pergola.

Victoria's daily market and the Pjazza Indipendenza cafés are a five-minute walk; the ferry terminal at Mġarr is a 15-minute drive for connections back to Malta. With only 26 reviews and a 9.9 rating, Bell & Beam remains largely off the mainstream booking radar.
