Oaxaca City's compact grid makes most Centro attractions reachable on foot. Collectivos (shared minivans) connect the centre to Monte Albán — the Zapotec archaeological site 9 km west — for under MXN 30. Taxis use meters within the city; rideshare apps operate here as well.
