Beside the Kabet Souk quarter of Meknès's ancient medina, Riad Atika Mek occupies a traditional courtyard house on Derb Elkatib — one of the narrow pedestrian lanes that pre-date the city's imperial Ismaili layout by several centuries.

The riad runs a sun terrace and outdoor dining area above the roofline, with tile and marble floors throughout. A coffee house on site serves the courtyard; concierge and tour desk staff arrange walking tours into the medina and transfers to Meknes's Volubilis Roman ruins, 33km north.
