El Muniria

Hidden along Rue Magellan in Tangier's Ville Nouvelle, El Muniria occupies the modest pension building where William Burroughs wrote much of Naked Lunch in room 9 during the late 1950s. The Beat Hotel bar downstairs still draws literary travelers rather than resort crowds.
