Wrapped around a 1950s courtyard on Boulevard Mohamed V, Hôtel Rembrandt keeps its original terrazzo floors and iron stair rail through a modest three-star renovation. Thirty-odd rooms face either the palm courtyard or the boulevard itself, a five-minute walk from the Grand Socco and the Kasbah's western gate.

The rooftop terrace, not listed on the room chart, opens for tea service each evening with a view over the medina toward the Strait of Gibraltar. Tangier's port and ferry terminal sit fifteen minutes on foot, making this a practical stop for travellers crossing to Spain.
