Riad Tingis

Four riad suites open around a tiled courtyard on Rue Nejjarine, deep in Tangier's medina above the old port. A rooftop terrace clears the rooflines for views across the Strait of Gibraltar toward Spain on clear days.

No restaurant sign marks the entrance — guests are guided in by the riad owner or a call ahead, medina-style. Breakfast is taken on the terrace, weather permitting.

The Petit Socco square and Kasbah museum are both under ten minutes on foot, though cars cannot reach the door; luggage transfer is arranged by porter.
