Lined with tamarisk trees along Route de Malabata, Welcome Stay sits on Tangier's eastern bay road, roughly ten minutes by car from the Kasbah and medina and closer still to Malabata's own stretch of sand — a practical base for travellers who want sea views without medina noise.

Rooms face either the bay road or an inner courtyard; corner units catch sunrise over the Strait of Gibraltar. The beach promenade below suits early walkers, and Ibn Battouta airport lies a short taxi ride east along the same road.
