About Stoneyard by Nomads
Beneath the granite peaks framing the upper Kaghan Valley, Stoneyard by Nomads occupies a stone-built compound in Nārān — the last sizable settlement before the high-altitude road climbs toward Babusar Pass.
Rooms draw on local materials: rough-cut slate floors and timber-framed windows angled toward the valley. The property's name reflects the construction method rather than a design conceit, with exposed stonework running through both exterior walls and interior surfaces.
Nārān sits roughly 240 kilometres northeast of Islamabad at 2,400 metres elevation. Lake Saiful Muluk, a glacial lake held sacred in Kaghan Valley folklore, is a 40-minute jeep ride from the town centre — most guests arrange onward transport directly through the property.
