Zimsa Resort Skardu

Twenty rooms set along Sadpara Road at the edge of the Karakoram foothills, Zimsa Resort Skardu faces the boulder-strewn approach toward Sadpara Lake, roughly four kilometres southeast of Skardu town centre.

The resort sits at an elevation where summer nights drop sharply, making the mountain-view rooms a practical draw for trekking groups staging for K2 or Concordia expeditions. Skardu Airport, now served by direct flights from Islamabad, is approximately eight kilometres west along the Indus valley floor.

Skardu itself is the primary gateway to Pakistan's Karakoram circuit, with Shangrila Resort Lake and Deosai National Park accessible by jeep within a half-day. Road access via the Karakoram Highway connects the valley to Gilgit in roughly three hours under clear conditions.
