Ecolodge Casa del Montañista

Six adobe-style rooms make up Casa del Montañista, tucked in the Quechcap hamlet outside Huaraz at the base of the Cordillera Blanca, roughly twenty minutes from the city center — a fitting base for climbers and trekkers headed toward Huascarán before dawn.

A garden terrace with outdoor fireplace and sun deck faces the range directly; the shared kitchen and picnic area suit guests self-catering between multi-day treks. Bike tours and fishing outings can be arranged through the on-site tour desk.

The restaurant and snack bar cover meals when guests return late from the trail, and airport shuttle service connects the lodge to Huaraz's regional airport.
