Fourteen floors up in Huaraz's Shancayan district, Shekina Huaraz Departament is a self-contained second-floor apartment with balcony views stretching toward the Cordillera Blanca's snow-capped ridgeline. The private entrance and separate dining area make it a practical base for trekkers staging multiday routes into Huascarán National Park, roughly 20 minutes by road.

The kitchen runs fully equipped — refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and kitchenware included — so guests can self-cater between trail days rather than relying on restaurants. A sofa, sitting area, and flat-screen TV fill the living space; the private bathroom offers both bathtub and shower.
