About Station 2

Station 2: The Heart of Boracay's White Beach

Station 2 is the central zone of White Beach on Boracay Island, Philippines. The 4-km beach is divided into three numbered stations; Station 2 anchors the middle and sees the highest concentration of foot traffic. D'Mall, an open-air retail and dining complex, sits directly behind the beachfront path here, with dozens of restaurants, souvenir stalls, and dive operators within a few steps of the sand. The paved Beachfront Walk runs the full length of White Beach, but it is widest and most active at Station 2 after sunset.

Where to Stay

Accommodation ranges from small guesthouses one block inland to mid-range beachfront properties with direct sand access. Station 2 Road (the main inland artery) runs parallel to the beach and holds the largest share of Boracay's registered hotel supply. Options cluster tightly around D'Mall, making most amenities reachable on foot.

Practical Tips

  • Getting there: Fly into Caticlan Airport (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport), take a 10-minute bangka boat to Cagban Jetty, then a tricycle to Station 2 — total transfer under 30 minutes.
  • Monsoon season: The habagat (southwest monsoon) runs June to October; the western shore can see rough surf and periodic activity restrictions.
  • Getting around: Electric tricycles (e-trikes) run fixed routes along the main road; single-ride fares are under ₱50.
  • Beach rules: Boracay enforces a no-smoking policy on the beachfront and bans alcohol on the sand after 6 p.m.
