180 Degrees Self-Catering

Around the midpoint of La Misere Road, one of Mahé's highest interior ridges, 180 Degrees Self-Catering earns its name from the sweep of ocean, mountain, and garden visible from each private terrace. The elevation keeps temperatures a degree or two cooler than the coast below.

Units are fully equipped for independent stays: full kitchen with oven, stovetop, microwave, and coffee machine, plus a dining area and barbecue on the patio for evenings outside. Extra-long beds, a bathtub, and a sun deck round out the domestic comfort level. Car rental and a shuttle service are available on-site, useful given the hillside location.

Victoria, Mahé's compact capital, lies roughly fifteen minutes downhill by car. The ridge position means sunsets read as panoramic rather than framed — sea and jungle canopy together.
