33-11, Dongmun-gil, Wansan-gu
About Haneulae Jeonju Hanok Village Accommodation
Twelve hanok-style rooms occupy a restored courtyard compound on Dongmun-gil, deep inside Jeonju's 735-building Hanok Village — one of South Korea's largest intact clusters of traditional tile-roofed architecture. The property sits a four-minute walk from Gyeonggijeon Shrine, the 1410 royal portrait hall that anchors the village's northern quarter.
Rooms follow the ondol floor-heating tradition with low furniture and sliding paper-screen doors; each includes a private bathroom, air conditioning, and refrigerator — practical additions kept discreetly out of sight behind period woodwork. Towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer are provided.
Jeonju's bibimbap district, where the city's defining rice dish originated, starts one block south. The intercity bus terminal connecting to Seoul and Busan is a twelve-minute taxi ride away.
