42-5, Hyanggyo-gil, Wansan-gu
About Hanok Hyeyum
Across the lane from Jeonju Hyanggyo, the 500-year-old Confucian academy, Hanok Hyeyum occupies a traditional Korean timber-frame compound where curved roof tiles and paper-screened doors set the tone throughout.
Guests sleep in ondol-style rooms at ground level, each with a private bathroom and garden view. The property runs cooking classes and archery sessions on-site, and arranges bike tours into the surrounding hanok village — one of Korea's largest intact clusters of traditional architecture.
Hyanggyo-gil sits at the quieter northern edge of Jeonju Hanok Village, away from the main Taejo-ro food stalls yet within a ten-minute walk of Gyeonggijeon Shrine.
