Casa Ríos

Eight rooms on Calle Real in El Burgo — a whitewashed Andalusian pueblo roughly 60 kilometres northwest of Málaga — Casa Ríos is a compact village hotel suited to walkers and road-trippers exploring the Sierra de las Nieves natural park, whose trails begin at the edge of town.

All rooms are non-smoking. Check-in is from 15:00; check-out by 12:00. The village centre, with its small bars and local shops, is steps from the front door on El Burgo's main street.

The A-366 mountain road links El Burgo to Ronda in under 40 minutes and descends to Málaga city in roughly an hour, placing Casa Ríos on a natural overnight stop between the coast and Ronda's dramatic gorge.
