Valle de Elorz / Elortzibar is a rural municipality in the Navarre foothills, roughly 10 kilometres south of Pamplona along the Elorz river valley. The area sits between the Sierra de Alaiz to the south and the Pamplona basin to the north, giving it a distinct landscape of oak woodland, farmsteads, and small villages — including Noáin, home to the region's main airport, Pamplona–Noáin (PNA). That airport connection makes the valley a practical base for travellers arriving in Navarre before heading into Pamplona or onward to the Camino de Santiago.

Visitors here tend to be pilgrims on the Camino Francés passing through Navarre, cycling tourists on the Vía Verde del Bidasoa network, and city-break travellers who prefer quieter accommodation outside Pamplona's centre. The valley retains a working agricultural character — cereals, vegetables, and livestock — that contrasts with the festival crowds of the San Fermín encierro each July in the capital. The Battle of Noáin (1521), in which Spanish royal forces defeated a Navarrese-French army, took place in this valley, marking the definitive incorporation of Upper Navarre into Castile.

Accommodation in the valley skews toward rural guesthouses (casas rurales) and small hotels near Noáin. Public bus line 21 connects Noáin to central Pamplona in under 20 minutes.
