About Lastra Farm Hotel
Six stone-walled rooms occupy a converted farmstead on Anglesey's northwest coast, where the Isle of Anglesey Aonb wraps around the property on three sides and Holyhead Mountain sits visible to the southwest across open farmland.
The building retains its original slate roof and exposed timber beams; rooms are finished with locally sourced wool textiles and cast-iron radiators rather than the usual coastal-hotel palette. Breakfast uses eggs from the farm's own flock and bread from the Menai Bridge bakery two miles east.
The Anglesey Coastal Path passes within 400 metres, giving direct walking access to Porth Dafarch beach. Holyhead ferry terminal, for Irish Sea crossings, sits eight minutes by car — a practical detail for island-hopping itineraries that other Anglesey properties rarely flag.
