Eight guest rooms fill this Georgian country house outside Newport, set behind its own garden and terrace on the Teifi Valley side of the Cardigan road, a quiet base for couples and walkers rather than city-centre sightseers.

Rooms keep original carpeted floors, garden views, and sitting areas; several open directly onto the outdoor terrace. A shared lounge with board games substitutes for a bar, and picnic tables on the lawn get used for breakfast in summer.

Cardigan town and its castle sit a short drive away, with the coastal path reachable within twenty minutes by car.
