Hob Knob

Fourteen rooms inside a restored 1840s gingerbread cottage on Main Street, Hob Knob occupies one of Edgartown's most recognizable Victorian facades, its painted trim and wraparound porch unchanged from the whaling-era streetscape.

Rooms vary in footprint from the snug garden-level quarters to the upper corner suites with pitched ceilings and harbour light in the mornings. The property keeps a complimentary bicycle fleet — Edgartown's compact historic district is faster on two wheels than by car, and the South Beach shuttle stop is three blocks away.

Edgartown sits on Martha's Vineyard's eastern shore, reachable by ferry from Woods Hole in forty-five minutes. The Vineyard Haven ferry terminal connects to the town via a short taxi or seasonal trolley.
