Sixteen guest rooms occupy a converted Garment District walk-up on West 38th Street, two blocks from Times Square but insulated from its crowds by the wholesale fabric and trim shops that still operate at street level on weekdays.

Rooms run small and simple, no elevator above the second floor, a practical trade-off for budget-minded travellers prioritizing subway access over space. Penn Station and the A/C/E lines sit within a ten-minute walk, and the Herald Square shopping corridor is closer still.

This is a no-frills base for exploring midtown Manhattan on foot, not a destination in itself.
