Beneath the carved wooden eyvans of an 18th-century merchant residence on Bakhauddina Nakshbandi Street, SHoxtut Inn occupies two adjoining historic houses in Bukhara's old city — a ten-minute walk from the Poi Kalon minaret and the Ark fortress, well-suited to travellers wanting to sleep inside the UNESCO-protected core rather than on its edge.

Rooms retain hardwood floors and courtyard-facing windows; the inner courtyard view is the property's quiet centrepiece, shaded through midday. The on-site restaurant offers themed dinners and cooking classes drawing on Uzbek plov and bread traditions, with breakfast delivered to the room on request.
