The stone-built villa on Gornji kono, above Dubrovnik's Ploče district, converts a family home into a small nine-room guesthouse with a terrace overlooking the Old Town walls and the Adriatic beyond. Ten minutes on foot descends to Ploče Gate, avoiding the cruise-crowd bottleneck at Pile.

Rooms keep original stone lintels and terracotta floors; several open directly onto the shared terrace rather than a corridor. Breakfast is homemade, served there each morning weather permitting.

The location suits travellers wanting walking access to the Old Town without a hillside stay in Lapad or Babin Kuk.
