Traditional village house

An old stone village house threading the cobbled lanes of Petra, Lesvos, the property places guests within easy reach of the basalt rock crowned by the 18th-century Panagia Glykofiloussa church — a landmark visible from nearly every corner of the village.

Rooms follow traditional northern Aegean layout: whitewashed walls, timber ceilings, and shuttered windows that face either the lane or a shaded inner courtyard. The ground-floor common area retains original stonework typical of Ottoman-era Lesbian domestic architecture.

Petra's pebble beach is a short walk from the village centre. The medieval hilltown of Molyvos lies eleven kilometres north along the coast road, and the thermal springs of Eftalou are reachable within fifteen minutes by car.
