Behind the colonial church of Santiago Apóstol, Lakeview Villa Santiago occupies a quiet residential lane above the lake shore, with Volcán San Pedro and Volcán Atitlán framing the water view from its upper terrace.

Santiago Atitlán is the largest Tz'utujil Maya town on Lake Atitlán's southern shore, distinct from the more-visited Panajachel by its active weaving cooperatives and the shrine of Maximón — a folk saint whose procession routes pass within two blocks of the property.

Lancha boats to San Marcos and Santa Cruz run from the public dock, a ten-minute walk downhill. With only two reviewed stays on record, the villa operates at small guesthouse scale rather than hotel volume.
