MesaStila Resort and Spa

Four hundred metres above the Kedu Plain on the slopes of Mount Ungaran, MesaStila occupies a former Dutch colonial coffee estate in Losari village, Magelang — the same highland corridor that places Borobudur temple roughly 45 minutes by road.

The resort runs a full working farm on the grounds; guests join morning harvests or attend cooking classes using estate-grown produce. The spa draws on Javanese tradition with body scrubs, wraps, and light therapy, while outdoor activities extend to horseback riding, cycling, and guided hikes through the coffee terraces.

Families are well served: a kids' club, indoor play area, and separate children's pool operate alongside the adult outdoor pool. Yoga and fitness classes run daily with personal trainers available on request.
