Corte Gondina Boutique Hotel

Beside the medieval tower that anchors Barolo's Via Roma, Corte Gondina occupies a restored Langhe farmhouse with hardwood floors and a garden terrace overlooking the Docg vineyards that give the village its name.

The spa runs a full menu — sauna, steam room, hot tub, and five massage types including couples' treatments — unusually complete for a property of this scale in a village of under 700 residents. Cooking classes and bike tours with local guides are arranged in-house, making the hotel a practical base for both cellar visits and ridge-line cycling through the Barolo crus.

The outdoor pool faces south toward the Cannubi hill, one of the appellation's most prized single-vineyard slopes. Breakfast can be served in-room; packed lunches are prepared on request for day trips into the Alta Langa.
