Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa

Four towers of a 16th-century Spanish watchtower anchor Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa above the volcanic headland at Forio's northwestern tip, where the hotel's private pine forest separates sixty rooms from the open Tyrrhenian.

The thermal spa draws from Ischia's natural hot springs, with an outdoor pool fed by geothermal water and a full treatment menu running from body wraps to couples' massages. A tennis court, diving, snorkeling, and water sports fill the hours between spa sessions. The beachfront restaurant shifts to themed dinners several evenings a week.

Forio town is a ten-minute drive east; the hydrofoil port at Casamicciola connects to Naples in under an hour. Airport shuttle runs to Naples Capodichino by arrangement.
