Folded into the foothills of the Northern Alps near Azumino's Hotaka district, ANFT-shiro is a compact guesthouse with shared bathrooms and a bar offering happy hour and wine — a sociable setup that suits the touring skier or cyclist rather than the resort guest.

Bicycle rental runs directly from the property, putting the Azumino cycling paths and Daio Wasabi Farm within easy pedalling distance. In winter, on-site ski rental, storage, a ski school, and a pass vendor remove the usual logistical friction for Hakuba-bound guests.

Breakfast reaches the room on request, and packed lunches are available for early starts. Check-in opens at 17:00; the midnight check-out suits guests catching the first lifts or dawn trail rides.
