Four self-contained apartments in Toyoshina, Azumino's quieter residential quarter, Azumi Relax Lodge A & B faces the Northern Alps with tatami flooring and a private hot tub making the mountain view the room's focal point.

Each unit runs as a full apartment: dining table, kitchenware, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle for self-catering stays. Electric blankets carry guests through Nagano's cold seasons, and a garden terrace with outdoor furniture extends the living space in warmer months.

Azumino sits on the JR Oito Line, connecting directly to Matsumoto in under thirty minutes. The Daio Wasabi Farm, one of Japan's largest wasabi fields, is a short cycle from the lodge — rental bikes are common throughout the valley.
